PIURN is a consortium of 15 universities in the Pacific Islands Countries and Territories established in 2013 to enable closer and meaningful collaboration among researchers in the consortium, and to collectively empower the Pacific Universities to become key contributors to finding solutions for challenges facing the region.
PIURN Research Themes
The Pacific Islands Universities Research Network has identified four main strategic research themes that are in line with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (2015-2030).
